Bronze
Bronze is a copper alloy with up to 10% tin. When tin is added to copper it becomes more wear resistant than pure copper. Other elements are also added to copper to make aluminum bronze, phosphorous bronze, and silicon bronze. These alloys are used for bearings, wear components, plumbing fittings, gears, and so on. Some typical alloys we have processed are:
- Commercial bronze, alloy 220
- Phosphor bronze, alloy 510
- Aluminum bronze, C61400
- Silicon bronze, High and Low grades
- Sintered bronze plate
